SELEUKID KINGS OF SYRIA. Antiochos IV Epiphanes, 175-164 BC. AE (Bronze, 20 mm, 5.52 g, 12 h), perhaps Ake-Ptolemais, circa 173/2-164 BC. Radiate and diademed head of Antiochos IV to right. Rev. ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ - ΑΝΤΙΟΧΟΥ Nike, holding kentron in her right hand and reins in her left, driving fast biga to left; below horses, monogram of ΠΑ. HGC 9, 669. SC 1484.2. Attractive earthen highlights over a dark green patina. Some brush marks on the obverse, otherwise, very fine.
